Multimedia Developer (Job Number:427602)


The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing graphic designs and illustrations, animations, interactive activities, and other media for interactive eLearning training products and/or instructor-led training materials. The candidate will interact with team members, customers, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop engaging interactive web- and computer-based training products for government and commercial clients. Responsibilities include development of course navigation and deployment of courseware within SCORM-based Learning Management Systems. The candidate must be a self-starter who takes ownership of their work. Attention to detail is required for this position, as well as demonstrated ability to meet tight deadlines, prioritize workload, manage time efficiently, and work in a team environment.



- Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic/Multimedia Design, Art, or similar field of study from an accredited college or university is required or a combination of education and work experience (4 years of experience accepted in lieu of degree) is required.


- Minimum 3 years' Multimedia experience.
- Strong graphic design and illustration skills.
- Demonstrated experience with the following is required: interactive multimedia applications such as Adobe Creative Suite, Flash CS3 or higher (including basic programming in Actionscript, HTML5, Javascript, XML), Adobe Animate plus Photoshop, Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with Learning Management Systems, SCORM and Sect. 508 compliance is necessary.

- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to interact effectively in a team environment is necessary.


- The life cycle of design and programming of training content from concept through project completion.
- Video and audio production.
- Composica or other e-learning authoring tools.
- Illustrator, Captivate, 3D Studio Max, Maya, Final Cut Pro applications.
