Location: This position can be located at a Seacoast Bank office in Stuart, West Palm Beach or Miami.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Loan Booking & Funding Specialist has the ability to handle complex loan booking and funding requests including participated and/or syndicated loans. This role provides guidance to other associates, documents procedures, researches and corrects issues.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Ability to process all commercial, Seacoast Business Solutions, consumer, consumer real estate, mortgage and Seacoast Marine loans.
  • Book participated and syndicated loans as well as specialty finance loans including file maintenance for modifications, extensions, etc.
  • Process draws and request funding from participating banks.
  • Provides assistance, guidance and training for users of loan systems/operations and coordinates with Team Lead to communicate system changes or problems to all areas of lending and customer service personnel involved.
  • Receives faxes/emailed requests for commercial loan revolving line draws, verifies availability of funds and processes draws.
  • Assists with the creation and testing of systems, procedures and reports to control, balance and monitor accuracy of the loan system database and general ledger accounts.
  • Answers external customer and in-house inquiries regarding all Booking/Funding Department functions, including those that are unusual and complex in nature will maintaining superior customer service.
  • Process loan extensions and due date changes.
  • Provides written correspondence to customer inquires as applicable.
  • Adheres to the highest legal and ethical standards applicable to our industry while observing both the spirit and letter of all government regulations and laws, and bank policies and procedures.


  • Ensure adherence to AML/BSA requirements, operational procedures, audit procedures, risk/control expectations, dual control, security, Business Continuity, and all other regulated banking requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:



  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • 7+ years of general banking experience
  • 5 years of Loan Booking & Funding experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of all types of commercial, consumer and residential loan servicing
  • Strong PC skills to include working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word and Excel)
