The Accounting Manager leads the corporate headquarter's accounting team, reporting to the Accounting Director. This role will provide financial and administrative support for our global organization. This individual will be a key leader and contributor to our finance organization and should have a team-oriented and hands-on working style. The ideal candidate will be disciplined and process-oriented with a high level of enthusiasm, professionalism, and integrity.

Accounting Manager Job Responsibilities:



  • Lead and oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting process
  • Ensure a timely close of the general ledger and review monthly reconciliations and journal entries prepared by team members
  • Review month-end activities related to: Accounts payable, accrued expenses, credit cards, fixed assets, payroll, benefits, travel, tax, cash, and prepaid expenses
  • Manage the Company's equity accounting and reporting
  • Oversee Accounts Payable and Procurement function
  • Lead process improvement and drive optimization and automation
  • Work with International Controller and various functional leads to achieve accurate monthly reporting for North American and international subsidiaries
  • Partner with FP&A to analyze budget to actual variances
  • Support M&A activity through leading integration efforts
  • Support annual audit of the Company's financial statements
  • Support the Company's global consolidation process
  • Manage a team of 3 accounting professionals
  • Support Corporate Controller and CFO projects and analyses as required


Requirements:

  • 6+ years' relevant accounting experience; software/tech industry preferred but not required
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proven mix of operational and technical accounting experience
  • Relevant accounting software experience: SageIntacct, ADP, Concur, Coupa, Shareworks preferred
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong team player with proven ability to build and maintain valuable business relationships
  • Experience in a fast-paced and high-volume environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
