The Marketing Generalist works with internal business units to develop, implement, and analyze marketing campaigns that drive their desired business results. Internal business units include Finance Source Sales, Dealer Sales, Integrated Partners, and Menu Sales. The Marketing Generalist will work with both business and marketing teams to develop marketing strategies and plan for execution. This individual should have a strong track record of increasing web traffic, lead generation, and lead nurturing in a B2B environment, all while presenting the company as a thought leader in the industry. Experience should include strong data analysis, project management skills, and hands-on experience with content management, SEO, Google Analytics, marketing automation, and email marketing. The position formulates ideas and implements plans to align with business needs, using both traditional and digital media channels. It uses data and metrics to formulate decisions that increase customer engagement.
Create campaign outlines with business units to define objectives, offers, audience, messaging, and timing.
Collaborate with the Copywriter, Digital Marketing Specialist, Graphic Designer, Events Coordinator, and outside agencies to execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to achieve defined business objectives. Create effective product campaigns throughout the year to achieve targeted objectives. Generate sales leads for RouteOne products and services. Produce and present reports that demonstrate program performance, laddering up to corporate strategies to ensure cross-team understanding of performance. Stay up-to-date with digital marketing trends and potential new channels and opportunities.
Broad knowledge of digital practices that drive business strategy. Solid technology background and fluently using the latest digital platforms and tools, including content management systems (Drupal is ideal), email, and marketing automation platforms. Familiar with Google Analytics and background in data, with ability to collect, clean, analyze, and act on data.
Experience in creating dashboards to easily communicate campaign metrics is a plus. Familiarity with HTML and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of video editing processes. Experience with writing and editing copy. Experience in auto finance a plus.
Fluent in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with content management systems, such as Drupal, and a working knowledge of HTML.
Experience with Salesforce, Pardot, Google Analytics, Adwords, and similar tools.
