Manager of Customer Solutions

This position will provide day-to-day support to automotive OEMs and other key customers from an operational and project point of view. This position will work closely with all of RouteOne's internal teams to identify key requirements and collaborate on the tactical development of RouteOne systems and services for OEMs and other key customers. Along with responsibility for individual customers, this position may also manage a team of Customer Solutions Analyst(s).

This position requires the ability to act in a collaborative role, have exceptional communication skills, a cool, calm demeanor that can focus and direct solutions to problems, strong analytic abilities that allow clear, precise definition of the business processes and functionality required, and an exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.

Job Requirements

  • Develop and deliver demonstrations to customers.

  • Support sales in customer meetings through the development and delivery of product demonstrations.

  • Work with customer to brainstorm solutions to address business problems that will work in conjunction with the customer's technical capabilities and constraints, with the ability to demonstrate RouteOne product offerings that comprise the solution.

  • For customer requests which require RouteOne development, create internal request, and work with Product team to determine a solution that meets the customer's needs and remains consistent with RouteOne's product offerings.

  • Support Sales team in creation of SOWs by providing clear scope and estimates.

  • After work is scheduled, act as subject matter expert for Product and Development teams when completing work (e.g., ensure Product Owners understand the objective of the work).

  • Manage any changes to schedule with all parties (in coordination with Project Management team).

  • Act as first level of response for customer(s) for any issues/questions that may arise on active projects.

  • Develop a thorough understanding of functionality to be able to respond to most inquiries, or be able to understand issue well enough to work in conjunction with Product team to determine an answer.

  • Communicate technical solutions in terms understood by business contacts.

  • Develop mechanisms necessary to consistently communicate the status of relationships, projects, and issues to the RouteOne leadership team.

  • Identify customer issues and opportunities that RouteOne can address using RouteOne products and/or services.

  • Coordinate the creation of project plans and other project management needs with the Project Management team.

  • Work with the RouteOne leadership team to formulate action plans to both create value for the customer and address opportunities.

  • Assist other members of the RouteOne team, as needed, to accomplish customer requirements.

  • Responsible for the management of Customer Solutions Analysts

  • Establish and track team goals, based on corporate objectives

  • Collaborate with team members to create personal goals, based on personal and professional development objectives

  • Provide guidance and leadership for team members in their support of goals

  • Assign projects to team members, identifying strengths, as well as growth opportunities

  • Maintain safety, security, and privacy standards throughout all areas of responsibility.

Knowledge

  • Prior experience in automotive retail finance, direct OEM sales, or sales in other related consumer finance field(s).

  • Understanding of auto dealer, finance source, and DMS processes and relationships.

  • Prior experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused organization with proven experience in significant, complex implementation projects.

  • Previous consulting experience a plus.

  • Experience with Agile methodology, ability to create stories a plus.

Other Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical area a plus.

  • Willingness to travel up to 10-15%.
