About the Job

Duties/Responsibilities:

Note: The responsibilities of this position are to teach 5 courses per year or to teach fewer courses but with a commensurate amount of course design or course coordination duties.

Teaching - 95%
* Design and lead courses in computer science and engineering.
* Supervise graduate or undergraduate teaching assistants who support the class, if applicable.
* Coordinate course materials including text books, course packets, exams, etc.
* Hold office hours in order to provide additional support to students.

Miscellaneous - 5%
* Attend applicable departmental meetings
* Collaborate with colleagues on course material, as appropriate

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
MS or PhD in Computer Science or closely related field.

Preferred Qualification:
Two or more years of teaching and course design experience. Preference will be given to applicants whose area of expertise are in software engineering, object oriented programming and development, machine learning, data science, and artificial intelligence, and those with previous teaching and course design experience.
