Responsibilities

Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising personnel, functions, and patient care activities in the Emergency Room. Interprets and presents policies, procedures, and standards for approval and implementation in the unit. Responsible for maintaining good public relations. Must take RN House Supervisor duties as needed and provide patient care as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Performs duties in any ER nursing/clinical capacity as needed and qualified.

Qualifications

Graduate of a state approved school of professional nursing practice. Bachelor of Science Degree preferred. Maintains current RN License in the State of Texas.

Must have Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas. Current BLS required. ACLS/PALS/TNCC within 3 (three) months of hire.

A minimum of five (5) years' experience in nursing, preferably in ER nursing.
