The Department of Neurology conducts basic and clinical research on the nervous system and provides clinical care for people with neurological disorders, such as Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, epilepsy, movement disorders like Parkinson's and Huntington's diseases, tremor, dystonia, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular conditions, headache and sleep disorders.
Our faculty includes leading neuroscientists, who work to expand our knowledge of nervous system function, as well as neurologists and psychologists who provide diagnosis and treatment for adults and children. We partner with colleagues from throughout the health system and work closely with the Department of Neurological Surgery to provide multidisciplinary team management for neurological disorders. We also offer cutting-edge diagnostic approaches, including advanced neuroimaging technologies and access to trials of new medications and other therapeutic modalities.

Responsibilities
The position reports to the UC Davis Alzheimer's Disease Research Center (ADRC) in the Department of Neurology. This position supports the data management and reporting requirements of the center's primary sponsors, the National Institute on Aging, the California Department of Public Health Alzheimer's Disease Center program, the National Alzheimer's Coordinating Center, and the pharmaceutical industry. This position will perform a wide variety of data base management, development of electronic data reporting tools, programming, analysis, and reporting functions including oversight, coordination and reporting all aspects of clinical research data for Alzheimer's Disease research, related studies, and clinical trials
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area and/or a combination of experience, education and/or training.
  • Several years' experience as a Full Stack software developer or similar role
  • Experience in software development using Java Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Restful web services
  • Experience in JavaScript frameworks including Angular, React, and Vue
  • Experience in designing front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and Bootstrap
  • Experience in SQL or a related programming language
  • Experience with relational and/or NoSQL database engines

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
