Medical Assistant - boutique Primary Care Practice (Highlands Ranch/Littleton)

Boutique-style Internal Medicine practice (MDVIP practice model) in Highlands Ranch is looking for a Medical Assistant. Full-time position.

Salary: $ - $ per hour (plus generous benefits which comprise the total compensation package)

Front and back-office responsibilities including:

* Answering phones

* Checking patients in/out

* Rooming patients and taking vital signs, injections, EKG's, spirometry

* Clean and stock rooms

* Lab and patient callbacks

* Patient education

* Assisting the physician

Requirements:

* EMR experience (Athena experience most helpful)

* Excellent phlebotomy skills

* Strong documentation skills

* Positive and mentoring personality with good communication skills

* Consistent attention to detail

* Excellent work ethic and follow-through

* Superior attendance reliability and promptness

* Dedication to extraordinary, personalized patient care, with a focus on preventative medicine and assisting the team in the coordination of every aspect of the patient's health care.

* In our boutique practice, the one-on-one relationships, and the ability to think ahead to anticipate our patients' needs is of the utmost importance

* Demonstrate professional behavior with staff, physicians, co-workers, patients, and families to create a positive work environment

* People management skills a plus

Job Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:45 am- 5 pm

Job Type: Full-time.

Experience:

* Medical Assistant: (Experience required)

* Phlebotomy: (Experience required)

License:

* Certified Medical Assistant (or equivalent preferred, or working towards a certification)

Job distance:

* Highlands Ranch/Littleton, CO 80129: Between 11 and 20 miles (Attendance reliability is a priority)

Interview process will include a phone interview, then in-person interview.

References will be required.

The final candidate will have to pass a background check and drug screen.
