Accounts Payable Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a financial analyst with a focus on accounts payable and supporting fixed assets. Candidate will be working with the accounting team with multiple emphasis, and will be reporting to the regional accounting manager.

Responsibilities include:

• Review, assemble, input, employee expenditure records and incoming bills for the required documentation before payment is made
• Ensure coding for the befitting expense accounts
• Obtain and validate invoices for suitable authorization and documentation approval
• Ensure good working relationship with vendors and acknowledge queries
• Assist in handling and processing of emails for the accounts payable team
• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data
• Maintains database by entering, verifying, and backing up data
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses
• Protect operations by keeping financial information confidential
• Support adhoc requests as needed generating reports and/or analysis, including audit requests
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
