Retail Associate (Angel City Brewery - Part Time)

We are currently hiring Retail Associates for our Angel City Brewery in Los Angeles, CA.

The retail associate/tour guide is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the retail store and tour program at Angel City Brewery. As a member of the Public House Tour Center at Angel City Brewery, the team member is responsible for leading educational and entertaining tours of the brewery, tastings of Angel City Brewery beers, assisting guests with purchases, and providing stellar customer service, enhancing a guest's overall experience at Angel City Brewery.

What You'll Brew:

• Encourage guests to sign up for E-newsletter program and help with customer surveys, as a means to keep in touch with special events and promotions at Angel City Brewery
• Responsible for conducting sales transactions for all guests within the Square POS system. Manage upkeep and organization of the retail store
• Process all store inventory, including receiving goods, quality control checks, ensuring merchandise is well represented, stocked, tracked, reported, sold, and inventoried
• Prepare weekly shipping orders from our e-store for beer to-go and all other items from the shop. Assist mgmt. in monitoring orders and necessary communication with guests via square
• Responsible for opening and closing tasks as required, including completing all checklists
• Support various projects as assigned by Keyholders and the management team
• Contribute new and creative ideas for new displays and merchandising
• Stock the retail cooler with fresh beer, as needed
• Support Angel City sales team on account brewery tours
• Assist with training of retail associates/tour guides

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

Minimum Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service/retail environment
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work in an organized and detail-oriented manner
• Ability to work in a fast-paced multi-task environment and under time constraints and deadlines
• Prior experience in public speaking
• Ability to lift and move objects up to 60lbs and maneuver 160lb keg
• Ability to kneel, bend, and climb stairs
• Able to work in loud, high - volume settings
• Ability to serve alcohol safely and responsibly during tours and tastings

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Beer Server Certification
