Job Description:
This role will report to the Director of Tax, and will work with various teams, primarily accounting and finance, to ensure complete, accurate and timely tax calculations and filings of income tax returns. Other tasks include but not limited to assisting with property tax, sales and use, US international tax.

What you'll own:
Income Tax
- Play an active role in the preparation of the Federal, State and Local income/franchise tax returns and maintenance of tax records used in return preparation
- Assist with the compilation and preparation of quarterly and annual tax provision calculations
- Prepare responses to Federal and State Notices
- Perform research projects as assigned, including research and analysis of proposed and existing business transactions
- Maintain tax fixed asset books in fixed asset software
- Gather data and forms for international income tax filings
Other Tax Projects & Tasks:
- Assist with indirect tax preparation when needed.
- Prepare related journal entries and reconcile accounts
- Assist with preparation of Forms 1099 and 1042-S
- Review tax forms such as W-8s and W-9s for completeness
Experience you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in tax/accounting or related field
- 1-2 years of tax experience in a large corporation or accounting firm
- Experience in income tax and have the curiosity and desire to learn more
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to deliver on deadline driven projects and manage multiple work streams
- Ability to work with team members in different locations and time zones
- Tax research experience, preferably with BNA
- Strong communication skills - both oral and written
- Ability to see process weaknesses and suggest and implement improvements
- Enterprise reporting systems (Netsuite) experience is a plus
