Senior Manager, ERP System

Job Summary:

The Senior Manager - ERP System is responsible for management, security, and ongoing development of Supernus' new Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) environment with SOX 404 compliance. Lead and participate in D365 evolving strategy, system support, and optimization related IT operations, business processes, security, and data integrity for the D365 applications. You will need to effectively anticipate and manage issues and risks and security development for D365 roles and users. As the D365 expert, this position plays an integral role by maintaining and enhancing Supernus' D365 environment by working in coordination with Supernus' Functional Accounting Team.

This position supports a growing enterprise of 275+ corporate employees and will provide an opportunity for the candidate to assist with both break-fix and new enhancement development. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the execution of day-to-day activities of D365, this includes but is not limited to:
  1. Provision and deprovision users.
  2. Maintain workers and positions adhering to a managerial hierarchy fiscal signing schedule.
  3. Maintains security roles and users in Dynamics 365 and related software
  4. Provide batch job monitoring and issue resolution.
  5. Provide integration monitoring and resolution.
  6. Maintain workflows.
  • Performs updates and deployment across all development, non-production, and production D365 environments.
  • Manages vendor relationships to support third-party add-ons to D365 such as FastPath.
  • Create and maintain D365 development roadmap.
  • Serves as the lead for system upgrades to D365 and all supporting applications.
  • Creates and maintains documentation for Dynamics 365 customizations and integrations.
  • Maintains a working knowledge of the Dynamics 365 life cycle services and updates from all vendors.
  • Triage D365 issues and serve as an escalation point for issue resolution for D365 and supporting applications.
  • Perform Security Development for existing role modifications, and new role creation.
  • Monitor, maintain, and implement both inbound and outbound D365 integrations and data feeds.
  • Adhere to SOX 404 ITGC controls and maintain compliance across all enterprise IT systems.
  • Gather evidence, prepare SOX review documentation, and lead SOX review meetings.
  • Interface with representatives from Finance and other departments.
  • Develop and maintain an effective status management process and regularly report progress to management stakeholders.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • The Senior Manager - ERP System leads an ERP technical team responsible for all maintenance, architecture support and security for the D365 environment.
  • Manage, train, coach and serve as technical resource to current ERP technical team including Senior D365 Administrator and D365 Administrator to build high performing ERP team offering first rate technical support.
  • Ensures employees understand their job duties and how performance will be measured.
  • Evaluates employee performance and provides feedback.
  • Identifies and facilitates training and professional development opportunities for staff to support skill development.

Knowledge & Other Qualifications:

  • N/A

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in IT oriented major with a minimum of 4+ years overall related experience, or High School Diploma with minimum 6+ years of overall related experience.
  • At least 5+ years' experience of working directly with Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and D365, in the areas of Finance and Operations/ Supply Chain.
  • Experience as software development support is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of standard development life cycle in an agile environment is strongly preferred.

D365 Experience and Additional Applications:

  • Technical understanding of the D365 application, modules, workflows and functionality.
  • D365 implementation and upgrade experience with strong client services orientation and accustomed to taking an active role in executing projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Life cycle management.
  • Proficient in Azure resource management.
  • Significant prior experience in addressing both the business and IT activities associated with management of an ERP system.
  • Knowledge of AOT and security development objects and best practices.
  • Knowledge of SOX 404 and operating within a controlled environment.
  • Knowledge of Fresh Service or similar Helpdesk Ticketing application.
  • Knowledge of standard code development and release practices in an Agile environment.
  • Strong documentation skills to be used in creating functional and technical requirements documents to meet requirements and documentation for audit and SOX review.
  • Understand financial reporting setups, architecture, financial dimensions, and the impact on reporting processes.
  • Experience communicating with AX Partner Company and/or Microsoft.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment/Travel Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time.
  • Must be able to communicate via various methods including electronic, in person, or via telephone.
  • Candidate should be comfortable moving though out a five floor, two-connected building complex.
  • Candidate should be able to lift and transport a weight of 5lb or similar weight of a laptop.
