Stark Medical Specialties in Massillon, OH is seeking a full time certified medical assistant to

join our team. We are a local, privately owned practice focused on providing the highest quality,

personalized care to our patients. We offer extensive benefits including health, dental, vision

Core Responsibilities:

* Patient care

* Rooming patients

* Recording and gathering patient medical information (vitals)

* Assist with admin duties (scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records)

* Liaison between patients & physicians

* Teamwork

* Service

* Leadership

* Determine reason for visit

* Administer injections, refill prescriptions, etc.

* Assist in patient outreach and documentation for clinical quality programs

Requirements/ Education:

* High school diploma or equivalent

* Completion of accredited medical assistant program

* CPR Certification

* Well spoken, friendly, outgoing

* Experience in healthcare setting

Preferred Qualifications: * Experience documenting clinical data in an electronic health record system (EHR).

Nextgen experience a plus. * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

* Capable of working in a fast paced environment with exceptional skills in decision

making, multitasking, and prioritization. * Good computer skills and the dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of patient

information, familiar with windows-style applications and various software packages

specific to role
