The Role

We are seeking DevOps Engineers to join our Consulting Practice. This not your ordinary DevOps role! We are looking for technically proficient leaders who have that "special sauce", who bring vision and grit, who can work directly with clients in the F100, driving to outcomes that years ago were not thought possible. This team is about using cutting-edge technology and best practices to drive the best type of business outcomes. Responsibilities




  • Deliver business value to F200 Companies lead teams to outcomes that bring technology and business together to create tangible business value
  • Interface directly with clients to define business and technology requirements
  • Hands-on production deployment experience of AWS and/or Azure and/or GCP cloud-based solutions
  • Provide training and development support to both internal and external stakeholders using your deep cloud experiences and lessons learned
  • Provide technical "best practice" perspectives and architectural recommendations for cloud-based solutions based on client requirements
  • Demonstrate technical feasibility of AWS/Azure/GCP solutions through proof-of-concepts and/or prototypes; being a subject matter expert and providing leadership to guide teams
  • Support large-scale cloud migration programs from legacy technology ecosystems to AWS/GCP/Azure environments
  • Work on short- and long-term engagements, for different clients (sometimes concurrently), and bring leadership and expertise where we have the highest need



Qualifications




  • 10+ years of experience in hands-on software development in cloud-based environments
  • 10+ years of experience architecting cloud-based solutions in the financial services industry, including defining cloud strategies and executing cloud migrations
  • 10+ years of financial services technology industry experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Ability to qualitatively and quantitatively assess both business and technology challenges
  • Advanced understanding of enterprise architecture principles and/or familiarity with the TOGAF architecture framework
  • Professional cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Solution Architect, GCP Cloud Architect) preferred; equivalent work experience will also suffice
  • Experience supporting enterprise-level technology strategy initiatives, preferably in a leading management consultancy or technology services provider environment or the desire to do so
  • Hands-on experience with software development methodologies and programming languages such as Java, C, Python, and/or other languages
  • Project management experience and/or experience leading small to mid-sized teams
  • Experience in Agile development environments is preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (while 50% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience
