Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst. Reporting to the IT Manager of Business Systems, you will work directly with the IT and Business Operations teams, Project Managers, and end users to identify and scope critical business opportunities. This role will be crucial to business operations and will play an important part in how we scale as the company continues to grow. Preferred office location is Douglassville, PA, but willing to consider candidates residing near a large metro city in the US.

In this role you will collaborate with key stakeholders to determine project scope and vision, while assessing various system and resource requirements. You will provide a vital link between our Information Technology capacities and our business objectives by helping drive the design and implementation of many organizational initiatives.

  • Work within the IT Business Systems team to facilitate development activities among stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
  • Evaluate current and proposed integrations (ERP, CRM, HRIS), dashboards (Power BI, SSRS), and applications (Microsoft stack) to align with business needs.
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations to share ideas and recommendations.
  • Perform requirements analysis.
  • Improve business processes by identifying areas of improvement.
  • Clearly document and communicate the results of your analyses to cross-functional team members and management.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements.
  • Assist management in prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
  • Manage competing resources and priorities.
  • Update, implement, and maintain procedures.
  • Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.

Desired Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced technical skills to comprehend our digital initiatives and related systems.
  • Experience with ERP and CRM systems.
  • Experience within reporting platforms including Microsoft Power BI and SQL Reporting.
  • Proven ability to work with operational and financial analytical dashboards.
  • Organizational agility and the ability to influence stakeholders and various levels and business functions.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into process and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to think beyond the problem at hand.
  • Strong communication skills including written, oral, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a discrete manner maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Financial analysis experience and understanding of standard financial documents is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio).
  • A history of leading and supporting successful projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
  • 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience in a Business Analyst role.
