The Systems & Tools team for Environment and Supply Chain Innovation (ESCI) is seeking a UI/UXX Design Lead to innovate scalable design systems for software and analytics solutions. Working in collaboration with engineers and end users, this role will produce beautiful and seamless experiences by distilling product requirements and user goals into sketches, wireframes and experimental prototypes. The ideal candidate will help shepherd ideas from conception to release, while collaborating with other design experts and Communications team members to ensure design systems align to ESCI patterns, and resonate with internal and external audiences. Description As the UI/UX Design Lead, you will serve as the liaison between Solutions and cross-functional teams. You will research, design, prototype and improve user experiences across various software and data solutions, ensuring that the experience is optimized for improved usability, understanding, decision making, and exceptional visual design. SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE ENTAILS: - Leading design projects, from concept to delivery - Staying up to date with best practices and emerging trends in UX design, UI technology, and data visualization - Employing a keen eye for subtle details, focused on consistency, color use, and typography - Fostering successful relationships with Business users and Product Managers to define requirements, goals, and limitations. - Leading testing activities to analyze and predict user behavior - Producing quality design solutions through wireframes, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes - Validating builds to ensure design integrity and intended user experience has remained intact during implementation - Turning complex data into clear information through visual displays, leveraging a deep understanding of the fundamental principles of information design, user interaction, and visual best practices that resonate with viewers - Being a self-starter, able to work independently and perform multiple tasks under minimal supervision Education & Experience Bachelors Degree in Interaction, Design, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience Additional Requirements
