    Job Description

    You will be an integral part of a software delivery feature team in a fast moving, outcome-oriented company. Our teams are agile, automated, and delivery focused. To be a part of a Kingsmen team, you need to love delivering software. In our software delivery model, the Analyst joins our proven, high-caliber team to design and deliver quality software solutions. This role will manage relationships with client product owners, facilitate work in-take and prioritization, and break down high level client requirements into detailed Features / Functions / Stories for our delivery teams. Planning, design, and development work in this operating model is rigorous, disciplined, and uses leading-edge technologies to develop simple & efficient solutions.     Responsibilities Include

    • Effectively communicate with the technical team and client
    • Work as client liaison throughout execution
    • Work with Product Owner on work in-take, prioritization, and requirements discovery
    • Drive 5 iteration planning and execution against it
    • Manage portfolio and backlog in Agile tooling (Feature / Functions / Stories)
    • Discover and define function requirements
    • Coordinate with other dependent teams
    • Coordinate work effort amongst the other Analysts
    • Review Stories / Acceptance Criteria to drive towards elaborated Stories ready for iteration
    • Oversee and manage regression testing activities
    • Decompose requirements into specific and actionable development Stories with the consultation of the development team(s). Associated activities include:
      • Story creation and elaboration (detailed description and acceptance criteria)
      • Data analysis
      • Story administrative maintenance (updates to story point sizing, sequencing, etc.)
      • Story backlog administration (organization of bodies of related work, etc.)
    • Provide ongoing consultation and clarification of the Functions and Stories to development team resources
    • Capturing and presenting metrics around the feature team’s execution (estimates vs actuals, predicable velocity, burnup / burndown, etc.)
    • Able to step in for an Analyst as needed

    Required Skills and Experience

    • Minimum 7+ years of experience
    • Extensive experience working in a mature Agile environment
    • Experience working with teams building user facing web applications
    • Basic SQL skills, comfortable working with data, both analyzing existing data sets, as well as validating test results or triaging issues by inspecting data in the database
    • Experience with Agile tools such as Rally or Azure DevOps
    • Experience decomposing work into Features / Functions / Stories
    • Ability to coach and mentor other Analysts and manage their workload
    • Ability to write and review Acceptance Criteria
    • Ability to work with UX design team and include product design
    • Knowledge or understanding of how systems work. Exposure to application components: UI, web services, server architecture, system architecture, databases
    • Strong linear focus: Should be able to walk through detail for planning and executing an iteration
    • Very strong communication skills—ability to articulate complex problems to internal team, as well as confidence in communicating with senior level stakeholders effectively
    • Strong emotional intelligence—should be very efficient in identifying with their target audience and communicating appropriately
    • Highly organized, self-starter, with strong analytical skills
