Responsibilities The Strategic System Engineering Division is seeking a lead system engineer to serve as the subject matter expert in strategic system weapon system development. Responsibilities will be to shape engineering strategy, leading business process development, monitor and improve program execution, shape staff development and knowledge capture, contribute to proposal development, and participate national engagements on future strategic weapon system designs. The engineer will be responsible for collaborating across the Draper's internal organizational elements to ensure stakeholders are integrated into strategic planning efforts. Demonstrated leadership and expertise in the integration of system engineering, hardware and software activities for radiation hardened, highly assured GN&C (Guidance, Navigation and Control) systems is required. Qualifications The applicant must have experience in leading the technical development and managing the full lifecycle of system engineering activities in the GN&C systems domain for a wide variety of applications. Specific knowledge of applicable technologies and strategic system problem space is required. Required Qualifications:
MS or PhD degree in applicable engineering discipline (Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or Computer Science) with 25+ years of experience in the design, development, and managment of complex GN&C Systems
