Who you are:

  • Required: 1+ years experience in-person, classroom, and/or virtual facilitation
  • Required: 1+ years experience in content development for facilitation
  • Required: At ease working, speaking, and presenting to all levels of LGE including senior leadership
  • Preferred: BA/BS degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or related field
  • Preferred: Expert in Microsoft Suite of products including Excel, Teams, Power Point, Outlook, Word, and OneNote
  • Ability to demonstrate preparation and delivery of interactive classroom facilitation and management
  • Wildly comfortable in not always having the answers, but excited to seek them out
  • A love of learning and a desire to help others succeed
  • Demonstrated drive and experience to continuously improve - both yourself and our teams

What you'll do:

This position is responsible for planning, designing, and facilitating instructor led curriculum across LGE Community Credit Union in a classroom and/or virtual environment. As a Learning Architect - Facilitator you will have a never ending curiosity for new perspectives, and an uncanny ability to captivate a room no matter who is in the audience. You are a passionate, motivated, and skilled facilitator who believes that learning can be effective, valuable, engaging, and enjoyable. Consulting with business units, team members, and stakeholders across the organization to determine the most effective training and knowledge management strategy will be crucial in the success of LGE's learning environment for years to come.

Essential Functions:

  • Facilitate a wide range of technical and soft skill courses in 1-on-1, small group, virtual and/or classroom settings including but not limited to:
    • New Employee Onboarding
    • Systems and Software
    • Project Rollouts
    • Compliance
    • Leadership Development
    • Lending and Sales
    • Member Service
    • Employee Relations
  • Partner with subject matter experts in curriculum development to ensure accuracy of content and alignment to business priorities
  • Design and develop creative learner-centered facilitation programs, modules, and materials in multiple modalities including but not limited to:
    • Blended Classroom Learning
    • Interactive E-Learning Facilitation Videos
    • Job Aids
    • Facilitator Guides
    • Resource Materials
  • Architect, engineer, develop, and deliver innovative and scalable training solutions for all LGE team members
  • Identify and prioritize learning opportunities/performance gaps using multiple needs assessment approaches and analysis
  • Seamlessly manage all stages of the end-to-end facilitation process including planning, designing, facilitating, and follow up of content and measurables
  • Ensure a continuous feedback loop is constructed to enhance and elevate learning success across LGE Community Credit Union
  • Support the development of exceptional learning experiences that embrace learning & development best practices both internal and external to LGE
  • Ensure professional representation of the LGE brand in all learning materials by following branding guidelines, organizational communication standards, and Learning & Development templates
  • Develop, update, revise, and facilitate core curriculum for on-boarding all new LGE team members
  • Manage employee training evaluations and communicate with Learning & Development team to ensure successful closeout within the Learning Management System (LMS) to show overall value of learning
  • Prepare and setup up classrooms to provide a welcoming experience to our learning participants
  • Proactively stay abreast of industry regulations, trends, processes, and enhancements pertaining to the L&D industry to ensure credibility and effectiveness in the classroom
  • Consult and negotiate with external vendors to establish partnerships for learning solutions (online, virtual, and actual) that align with organizational goals for improving the LGE learning environment
  • Maintain familiarity with and follow all policies, procedures, and processes which have been established in order to meet compliance requirements of all applicable federal regulations. The regulations include but are not limited to the Privacy Act, Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Reg. CC and Patriot Act
