How You'll Support Our Mission
As our Brand and Content Marketing Leader, you'll help us design and implement a brand and content strategy that supports our short term and long term business goals and initiatives. As a member of the marketing leadership team, you will partner closely with our marketing, communications, product management, customer success, sales and executive leadership teams to build and execute cohesive brand and content strategies.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you will be part of our Marketing leadership team based in Austin, Texas or remotely.
What You'll Be Doing - the day to day
*You can easily pivot between high-level strategic thinking and vision setting and executing with an eye on the details. You are okay with ambiguity, and generally thrive in it. And you do your best work to deliver across the ecosystem.
* In concert with the head of marketing, VP of communications and Chief People officer, develop, execute and measure the next evolution of the ESO brand including our promise of value, employee value prop and brand identity.
* Be the focal point for brand programs, orchestrating plans, overseeing execution and measure impact day to day. Lead research efforts to better understand the voice of ESO customers.
* Design a content marketing strategy that tells ESO's story and guides buyers on a journey through the ESO ecosystem to support and enable all aspects of our business.
* Collaborate with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to identify relevant topics that solve problems for our target audiences. Own the editorial calendar and orchestrate coordinated execution across the marketing and business ecosystem.
* Define and track content-related KPIs. Provide ongoing insights and actions to drive continuous performance improvement.
* Manage design team and contractors and establish processes that enable the efficient production of high-quality deliverables.
* Edit and write content and brand deliverables across a cross-functional team
*Foster a culture of collaboration and curiosity with the organization overall to discover how brand and content can support business goals.
Who You Are - the essentials (Some of the things required to be successful in the role):
*5+ years of related content and brand experience.
*You are customer obsessed and fluent in marketing communications. You've led a broad base of content activities in a fast-paced environment with a lean team.
* Past experience producing a variety of content formats, from thought leadership to blogs to video scripts as well as brand programs
* Experience leading brand research projects.
* Past experience building audiences either online or offline.
* In-depth knowledge of the buyer journey to produce smart CTAs according to visitor lifecycle stage.
* A dual-minded approach: You're highly creative and an excellent writer but can also be process-driven, think scale, and rely on data to make decisions.
* Stellar project management and communication skills. Highly collaborative and super humble
* Evaluate emerging technologies and stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in content creation and delivery.
* Strategic thinker that can see beyond the day-to-day to help ESO grow and scale.
Who You Are - the desirables (It's a plus if you have):
* Experience in health tech or related industry
* Working knowledge of academic research
* Demonstrated use of technology in brand and content programs
* Ability to use Office 365 tools, including Word, PowerPoint, Sharepoint, etc
