About this Role : Directly provide effective pre-vocational, interpersonal, and independent living skills to adults attending the Psychosocial Rehabilitation (PSR) Program so they can move to a less intensive service and live independently in the community of their choice. Provide administrative and clinical supervision to supervisees providing direct service. Coordinate program referral process and Medicaid prior authorizations for services; assist with overseeing building operations. Job responsibilities include:
- Provide psychosocial rehabilitation services and psycho-education groups as required.
- Assist with providing program oversight of clinical documentation to ensure accuracy, timeliness and compliance with Medicaid, MCO, CARF, and licensure standards
- Review, co-sign and provide feedback on documentation and service delivery for supervisees
- Provide administrative supervision and clinical supervision
- Assist with referrals/screenings for the PSR program
- Directly manage a small case load
- Provide staff support and training
- Prepare and present case information/presentations for clinical supervision
- Directs clients to access emergency-based services as needed
- Attend and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities
- May perform First Aid and CPR as needed
- Drives 15- passenger county van or other vehicle as needed to transport clients and complete other work-related activities
- Collaborate with community partners and other CS programs

PREFERENCES: The successful candidate will have...
- Master's Degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral science field.
- Possess an unrestricted LPC, LCSW in the Commonwealth of Virginia
- 2-3 years of experience in delivery of human services for adults with Serious Mental Illness (SMI)
Preference will be given to candidates with:
Previous experience in a CSB or other government agency providing supervision to clinical staff
SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS: Monday through Friday 37.5 hours / week; daytime schedule
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
CPR, AED and First Aid Certifications
Valid Driver's License, must pass DMV record check
Ability to drive 15 passenger van after training
Must possess LCSW or LPC in Virginia
Must pass TB test
Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate passing a fingerprinted-based national Criminal history record check
Child Protective Services Requirements: Effective 1999, mandated by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services 12VA3S-10S-400 rules and Regulations for Licensing Providers by the Department of Behavioral Health and Development Services related to Criminal Registry Checks, a search of the registry of founded complaints of child abuse and neglected maintained by the Department of Social Services.
