Event Support Staff

The Event Support staff will be on call to assist with preparation and clean-up of weddings and events. Work days are typically Friday, Saturday and/or Sundays from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, although times may vary. Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $13.00 per hour.

Major Duties/Specific Tasks

• Clean the Manor House, tent and grounds.
• Occasional grounds keeping duties, including removing trash and mowing/trimming grass using a push mower as needed.
• Set up tables and chairs as detailed in floor plans for the Manor House, tent and grounds.
• Direct vehicle traffic in the parking lot.

• Must be age 16 or over.
• Ability to deal courteously and effectively with the public.
• Ability to follow both written and verbal communications.
• Ability to perform manual work with strength and dexterity necessary to perform all required tasks, including lifting, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions in an event venue setting. Will lift and move banquet tables and chairs; will climb ladders.
• Ability to perform routine custodial duties such as cleaning restrooms and stocking supplies, sweeping floors and assisting with preparation and clean-up of special events.
• Availability to work a variable work schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
