Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Senior Business Analyst, who will provide knowledge in business process, system analysis, design, improvement, and implementation efforts in translating business process needs into technical requirements. In this role, you will use systems resources and personnel to carry out analysis in support of management's quest for performance improvement to determine the most useful business solution. You will use your talents to help federal agencies, including military departments, and cleared industry partners to onboard onto a new IT system. Location: Remote (Flexible work schedule, must be driving distance to Ft. Meade, MD) Security Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility per program requirements Responsibilities:
- Implement a comprehensive management plan for each project and hold regular stakeholder meetings to keep all partners engaged plus provide updates regarding the progress of the project
- Determine and document user requirements for business processes and abide by those requirements for future projects
- Reviews and analyzes information, forecasts, methods, schedules, systems, processes, and procedures
- Provides experience in, but not limited to, configuration management, strategic planning, knowledge management, business analysis and technical analysis
- Develop knowledge of the execution of various subject management functions in NBIS to include the "how of initiation, review, and authorization of a background investigation requests
- Maintain a high level of performance and professionalism, plus provide servant leadership
- Work directly with Personnel and Industrial Security professionals and provide exceptional customer service
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or five (5) years of work experience
- Excellent interpersonal, communication skills, and desire superb customer service skills
- Experience making presentations to senior leadership
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and Power Point
Preferred Qualifications:
- Understanding of the Personnel Vetting/Personnel Security mission, systems, and organizations
- Knowledge across the legacy background investigation systems and related personnel vetting business systems.
- Understanding of background investigations
- Remote (flexible work schedule, must be within driving distance to Ft. Meade, MD)
