You will be responsible for creating the best online shopping experience for Apple customers - www.apple.com/shop. Key Qualifications 7+ years of overall experience in Software engineering & development in a professional setting Programming in Java, Scala or any other object oriented programming language with deep understanding of object oriented concepts Experience in Spring or other DI frameworks Knowledge and experience of Service Oriented Architectures Expert knowledge of computer science, with an in-depth understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design Excellent knowledge of web technologies such as HTTP, cookies, AJAX, etc Strong design & analytical skills Demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in a highly innovative and fast paced environment Good written and verbal communication skills Experience working with a large scale consumer facing websites is a plus Experience in SpringMVC is desirable Experience scaling distributed systems to handle millions of concurrent requests is desirable Experience integrating with Content Management Systems is a plus Description We are looking for a self driven, upbeat individual who has a strong sense of ownership & strong engineering attitude. As part of the AOS Merchandising Applications Engineering team, your responsibilities include building high throughput, dedication, reliable, server-side web applications. You will be building the shopping experience for all of Apple's New Product Introductions (NPIs). The role requires collaboration with large cross functional teams to deliver sophisticated initiatives, on timelines. You would work closely with teams such as the Services & UI Engineering teams while also heavily interacting with Product, Design, Content, Quality and many other groups within Apple. The team delivers world class E-Commerce experiences on all platforms (Desktop & MOW). You would be working in an agile environment with multiple initiatives running in parallel, delivering software systems and features with outstanding quality, on time Education & Experience BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or Electrical/Electronics Engineering Additional Requirements
