IMAGING COORDINATOR SUPERVISOR

The Clerical Supervisor helps provide day to day leadership responsibility with overall functions of the Imaging Coordinators in Radiology. Understand the process for ordering supplies and orders office supplies pertaining to clerical and Imaging. He/she provides training to team members as well as to other customers that will use the product for PACS. Coordinates all film /imaging requests within the Radiology Department to physicians and patients. Post all communication information to Imaging Coordinators sent by the manager.

The person in this position works under general supervision, is responsible for various shifts, may be subject to over 40 hours per week and/or callback as required, and may also be required to remain on campus immediately before, during, and after severe weather and/or disasters.

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree
• Minimum of 1 year experience working in a health related field and/or customer service
• Ability to perform general office procedures and practices, including daily computer operations and relevant equipment functions
• Knowledge of medical terminology; records management; and basic computer skills
• Ability to deal appropriately with confidential information
• Able to function effectively with frequent interruptions and multi task daily
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
