Alight is looking for an experienced Commercial Marketing Manager

Alight Solutions, a leading benefits administration and cloud-based HR services provider is seeking an experienced Commercial Marketing Manager for its Healthcare Navigation business. Candidates should bring a documented track record of developing and managing integrated marketing communications campaigns, fueled by content calibrated with the buyer's journey, that have driven quantifiable results, including those associated with demand generation. The individual joining our team should expect to work closely with members of Alight's marketing technology, product marketing, content, and field marketing teams to bridge upstream marketing strategy with downstream execution. This consensus builder and doer should also anticipate collaborating with Alight's commercial sales team in support of prospecting and funnel conversion.

This role reports to Alight's Healthcare Navigation Commercial Marketing Director.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the Alight Healthcare Navigation marketing plan and program by planning, executing, measuring, and optimizing B2B campaigns, trade events and conferences, sales support, and enablement, as well as its key account strategy (i.e., ABM).
  • Partner and work collaboratively with Alight product and product marketing teams to gain an in-depth understanding of the health navigation product portfolio, target market, and buyer personas. Support the development and maintenance of the claims roadmap.
  • Translate buyer personas into content packaged according to each stage of the journey-adapting core messages in the form of clearly articulated value propositions linked to compelling calls-to-action.
  • Coordinate with Alight marketing technology, digital, and commercial operations teams to align systems and process in support of lead capture and opportunity conversion (e.g., landing page registration and conversion, A/B testing of communications, etc.).
  • Manage commercial marketing performance management through the analysis of functional and operation dashboards to identify and distribute insights leading to program optimization and/or best practice adoption.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment by adopting and consistently displaying Alight's core values: Champion people, grow with purpose, and Be Alight

Knowledge and Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally with a focus in marketing, communications, business or management, or the social sciences strongly preferred.
  • Five to seven years of practical work experience in commercial marketing or inside a leading marketing communications agency (experience in the healthcare industry, with employer-sponsored healthcare, or with health plans a plus!).
  • Familiarity with marketing automation technology, including Marketo, as well as integrated or supporting applications such as Salesforce.com, Tableau, Zoominfo, and others.
  • Prior experience managing content plans and development calendars, creating scripts and packaging interactive content, overseeing agency partners and/or freelancers. We'd love to have a look at your content portfolio!
  • Artful with language, including the demonstrated ability to craft messages that resonate with buyers based upon your analysis of available research, core messaging frameworks, and project briefs.
  • An enthusiasm for working within a larger team, but with the capacity to act independently or with minimal direction while balancing projects and tasks.
  • Meticulous attention to detail. It's not a zero-defects environment, but we only get a few opportunities to make a first impression.
