Program Analyst Division of General Internal Medicine Full Time 67761BR Job Summary The Program Analyst will work with faculty members Courtney Lyles, PhD, and Elaine Khoong, MD, MS at the UCSF Division of General Internal Medicine & the Center for Vulnerable Populations (CVP) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital. Their projects examine the accessibility of health information technology for vulnerable populations and leverage implementation science principles to create and spread technologies that are relevant for diverse patient populations. Department Description The UCSF Division of General Internal Medicine (DGIM) at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and Trauma Center (ZSFG) delivers innovative, comprehensive and complex primary medical care to San Francisco's vulnerable patients; carries out highly impactful translational research focused on generating new knowledge to improve the health of vulnerable populations; engages in meaningful policy work focused on reducing health disparities and ensuring access to care; and trains the next generation of physician leaders and researchers in the care of vulnerable and underserved populations. The division consists of approximately 30 faculty, 43 staff, 24 resident trainees, and 2 fellows, with additional student interns and visiting undergraduate scholars over the summer months. The Division of General Internal Medicine also works closely with the UCSF Center for Vulnerable Populations (CVP). The CVP seeks to develop effective strategies to prevent and treat chronic diseases in communities most at risk, carrying out innovative research dedicated to improving health and reducing disparities through discovery, innovation, policy, advocacy, and community partnerships.
