Salary for Announcement
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $58,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience, specialty and training.

The above salary ranges represent the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the ranges of possible compensation at the time of posting. MSU Denver offers a full benefits package.

Position Summary
The Metropolitan State University of Denver ( MSU Denver) College Credit in High School ( CCHS) Quality Assurance & Accreditation Manager is part of the CCHS team within Innovative and Lifelong Learning (I&LL), reporting to the CCHS Senior Program Manager. This individual will ensure that CCHS programming meets performance standards and adheres to relevant regulations.

The Quality Assurance and Accreditation Manager will work to analyze CCHS programs and processes and ensure program quality and compliance, including ensuring compliance with National Association of Concurrent Enrollment Partnerships ( NACEP) and other high-quality standards. This individual is responsible for supporting the development and maintenance of CCHS standards, assuring that there is proper data collection and analysis, and revising CCHS standards with an eye for continuous improvement and growth.
Duties/Responsibilities
Administrative Management (20%)

  • Understanding all CCHS regulations, policies, and procedures, and articulating them to other members of the University staff, faculty, and I&LL team.
  • Managing the process for high school-based instructors to become approved as MSU Denver affiliate instructors with academic partners.
  • Creating and implement instructor professional development events.
  • Creating, implementing, and monitoring CCHS faculty onboardings and trainings (school-based instructors and MSU Denver faculty).
  • Providing ongoing support to faculty and instructors.
  • Tracking program priorities, goals, and timelines.
  • Maintaining a deep knowledge of CCHS policies and procedures and updating them as needed as there are changes to federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Performing other duties as required or assigned.


Quality Assurance (40%)

  • Creating and implementing a quality assurance evaluation plan.
  • Providing introductory and ongoing compliance training to staff.
  • Analyzing areas for program and quality improvements within CCHS and developing an implementation plan.
  • Developing regular reports for the Senior Program manager regarding compliance and non-compliance areas
  • Outlining remediation steps when there are areas that are non-compliant.
  • Establishing ongoing monitoring standards, metrics, and procedures.
  • Performing field evaluations of CCHS sites for compliance.
  • Leading strategy sessions to discuss executive planning for compliance.
  • Collaborating with staff to update CCHS standards and policies for compliance and best practices.
  • Reviewing ongoing CCHS programs and activities to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.


NACEP Accreditation (40%)

  • Working collaboratively with the CCHS Senior Manager and CCHS Managers and Advisor in efforts to receive NACEP accreditation.
  • Coordinating initial stages of self-study portion of NACEP accreditation.
  • Monitoring NACEP requirements criteria to maintain accreditation status.
  • Ensuring compliance of requirements and standards including, but not limited to NACEP.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years' experience working in an educational environment
  • 2+ years pf experience in quality assurance delivery
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, lead, and educate teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years working in accreditation
  • Experience using Banner or related student information system
  • Demonstrated ability to interact diplomatically and efficiently with a broad range of individuals, including faculty, students, administrators, and external colleagues.
  • Ability to proactively identify problems and implement solutions

Work Hours
Monday- Friday 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

This position is currently hybrid with 2 days on campus and 3 days remote work.
This schedule could change to align with the University's Alternative Work Arrangement.
