Salary for Announcement
The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $58,000. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based upon a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, education, experience, specialty and training.

The above salary ranges represent the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the ranges of possible compensation at the time of posting. MSU Denver offers a full benefits package.

Position Summary
The Metropolitan State University of Denver ( MSU Denver) College Credit in High School ( CCHS) Outreach and Recruitment Manager is part of the CCHS team within Innovative and Lifelong Learning (I&LL), reporting to the CCHS Senior Program Manager.

This individual is responsible for managing the CCHS district and school growth strategy, including developing and implementing an outreach and recruitment plan and providing resources and information to assist in moving potential new partners to participating partners with enrolled students.
Duties/Responsibilities
This position manages, develops, and implements a comprehensive district and school outreach and recruitment plan that involves:

Administrative Management (20%)

  • Working collaboratively with the CCHS Senior Manager and CCHS Managers and Advisor to create a funnel from new school identification to enrollment to matriculation.
  • Manage internal CCHS program information sessions with campus partners and units
  • Creating degree plans specific to each school partner.
  • Creating a CCHS-specific outreach and recruitment plan that includes marketing elements.
  • Researching and utilizing data and recruitment tools to select prospective populations to target for marketing and recruitment messaging.
  • Identifying, ordering, and distributing compelling SWAG to participating and non-participating high schools.
  • Gain basic knowledge of MSU Denver academic programs to competently speak to parents and students at HS/HS district college fair events if inquiries about various university offerings.
  • Performing other duties as required or assigned.


Partner and District Outreach and Development (40%)

  • Scheduling regular visits to all participating high schools, with face-to-face as a priority.
  • Meeting with non-participating high schools to recruit them to MSU Denver's CCHS program.
  • Identifying creative ways to "house" at various high schools to maximize visibility to students, parents, and school counselors/CCHS administrators.
  • Setting up 1:1 meetings with district and school leaders to better understand their CCHS needs.
  • Coordinating visits to campus with partnering high schools and academic departments.

Recruitment (40%)

  • Exploring and executing on opportunities to hold school-based and/or community-based recruitment events.
  • Tracking and reporting new district and school recruitment information, and monitoring enrollment progress.
  • Attending and representing MSU Denver CCHS as needed at recruitment events throughout the district and State.
  • Creating parent/student info sessions on-campus and at participating high schools.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 2+ years' experience working in an educational environment
  • 2+ years professional experience in outreach and/or recruitment
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills including the ability to influence, lead, and educate teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and implementing comprehensive outreach and recruitment plans
  • Experience using Banner or related student information system
  • Creative, self-motivated and results oriented problem solver with a desire to work in a 'startup environment' with ambitious growth plans
  • Demonstrated ability to interact diplomatically and efficiently with a broad range of individuals, including faculty, students, administrators, and external colleagues

Work Hours
Monday- Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

This position is currently hybrid with 2 days on campus and 3 days remote work. This schedule could change to align with the University's Alternative Work Arrangement policy.
