Responsible for analysis and design of pricing and promotion strategies for U.S. Cellular' s postpaid wireless products. Build new offers to delighting customers, growing revenue and grow margins. Drive projects cross functionally and build well evidenced cases-for-change to peers, leaders and executives. Utilize data driven observations, customer data and consumer insights to craft and design pricing and promotions in partnership with our Finance team. Responsible for leading a cross functional team that implements changes in the billing system, in sales force training and go-to-market materials.

Responsible for tactical, day-to-day operational and implementation including but not limited to resolving system/billing issues, supporting pricing improvements and adjustments, providing pricing and promotion related support for sales organization, driving key analytical efforts, and improving the reporting and measurement of operational efficiency.



  • Develop and lead pricing and promotion strategies from inception through implementation.
  • Translate data into creative and fact-based conclusions.
  • Make the business case for pricing and promotion strategies using consumer insights, consumer data and financial analysis.
  • Make case-for-change to all levels of the organization, from peers to C-Suite Executives.
  • Seek ways to further establish U.S. Cellular's differentiation strategy.
  • Works closely with Finance teams on take rate estimates and profitability analysis of proposed pricing and promotion design.
  • Content SME and business owner in the creation and improvement of marketing materials and collateral to support pricing and promotion execution to educate and inform customers.
  • Acts as the focal point in coordinating pricing and promotion input to the Brand and Marketing organizations.

  • Minimum 5-7 years' experience.
  • Bachelor's in Marketing or Business or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong business acuity, critical and creative thinking, analytical, and strategic skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical capabilities in customer forecasting, profitability analysis and financial modeling.
  • Ability to be an influencer who can set and/or implement strategy and a course of action.
  • Ability to combine quantitative and qualitative research to generate actionable consumer insights.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills, including experience making presentations to senior management.
  • Significant experience leading cross-functional development teams and large-scale initiatives including multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience facilitating projects across organizational boundaries, including positive relationship, leadership skills and working with external parties.
  • Significant experience working with and leading teams with varied strengths of individuals at varying levels within the organization.
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to build actions plans, overcome obstacles, and deliver projects on time.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Strong team orientation with ability to provide peer mentorship.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS



  • MBA or graduate level degree in a related field.
