Job DescriptionSilicon Valley Bank Job Description ________________________________________________________________________ Business Area: CRA Mortgage Advisory Functional Title: CRA Mortgage Advisor Officer Status: Vice President Reporting To: Managing Director, CA CRA Mortgage Advisory ______________________________________________________________________________ Position Summary: Located in the Bank's Northern California Market, the CRA Mortgage Advisor is responsible for assisting the Management Team in the expansion of the Bank's CRA program in Northern California in addition to originating new residential financing transactions with an emphasis on assisting First Time Homebuyers. The CRA Mortgage Advisor will assist in increasing the Bank's presence in the Greater San Francisco Bay Community. Roles and Responsibilities: *Work with CRA Mortgage Advisory Management Team and other colleagues throughout the Bank to identify external Northern California CRA "partners" (housing agencies, down payment assistance providers, etc.). Assist with approval process and program outlines as requested. *Meet or exceed mortgage production goal as set by Management on an annual basis through Portfolio channels. *Develop and implement a marketing plan for expanding new client base and product usage, with a focus on CRA lending. *Develop and maintain social, educational and civic ties within the community to assist targeted client base. *Work closely with Non-Profit Agencies in assisting their Home Buying Programs through seminars and other activities. *Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients and referral sources. *Respond to client and referral requests in a timely, professional manner. *Participate in special projects and committee-work as designated by the Managing Director, CA CRA Mortgage Advisory. .
