Executive Assistant

Technology & Healthcare is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant.

The ideal candidate has the intellectual curiosity to develop a strong command of SVB's business which will allow him/her to use judgment and experience to make independent decisions. He/she has acan-doattitude and thrives in and enjoys a fast-paced environment, remains calm under pressure, and possesses the ability to work quickly with ever-changing work priorities. This candidate welcomes new challenges and learning opportunities, is proactively committed to self-improvement, regularly seeks out performance feedback, and works well independently in a collaborative environment. Given the fast-paced environment, flexibility, proactive problem-solving skills, excellent judgment, positive attitude, and superior organizational skills are all required for success. A strong attention to detail coupled with a sense of urgency and the ability to think beyond the initial set of facts or issues will distinguish top candidates. Furthermore, this individual will have a strong orientation towards self-reliance and resourcefulness while balancing his/her individual workload and demonstrating follow through on delivery of requests and projects.

Responsibilities may include but are not limited to,advanced calendaring and managing productivity, expense management and travel arranging, coordinating logistics for internal and external meetings and offsites and sitting in on Leadership Team meetings to capture notes.

  • Ability to manage complex calendars using Outlook and Zoom
  • Strong planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent Microsoft 365 abilities, including Office, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience supporting complex projects with multiple stakeholders and workstreams
  • Strong communication skills - written, verbal, listening
  • Ability to triage and prioritize tasks - including long-term assignments and urgent tasks while keeping stakeholders apprised of updates and status changes
  • Coordinating team events and/or offsites
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to edit/proofread, strong attention to detail
  • Proactive and resourceful - be two steps ahead
  • Positive attitude, collaborative, flexible and adaptable
  • Curious, quick learner, not afraid to ask questions
  • Good judgement and discretion: ability to handle sensitive/confidential information
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
