Description Medical Assistant II - Primary Care - Medical Park at Providence Medical Group The MA II works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA II performs all aspects of the MA I role and is fully competent in the clinical needs/functions for assigned clinic/location of work. An MA II is expected to perform in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Required qualifications: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam Six (6) months of Healthcare experience Six (6) months of Medical Assistant experience Washington Medical Assistant Certification upon hire National Medical Assistant Certification upon hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire Preferred qualifications: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam Active National certification/registration by AMCA, AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHP as a Medical Assistant upon hire Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
