• Education requirements:
• Required Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for the WA State Certification exam
• Preferred Coursework/Training: Graduate of accredited school for medical assistants, or an equivalent combination of coursework, experience/training to qualify to sit for a National Certification exam
• Licensure requirements:
• Required upon hire (WA State Only): active MA-C in state of WA.
• Certification requirements:
• Required: Current BLS - Healthcare Provider (must be AHA accredited) within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred upon hire (WA State): Active National certification/registration by AMCA, AAMA, AMT, NHA, NCCT, or NAHP as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience requirements:
• Required: 6 months of Healthcare experience
• Required: 6 months of Medical Assistant experience
