Posting Title: Senior Business Operations Analyst

Overview of Position

The Senior Business Operations Analyst will lead the analysis of complex business problems and issues using data provide insight to decision-makers. In this position you will identify variance and trends, provide recommendations and strategic/tactical plans based on business data and operational knowledge. You will create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements. This position may participate in management reviews, including presenting and interpreting analysis results, summarizing conclusions, and recommending a course of action.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?

  • Under director of leadership, analyzes complex business workflow and provides analytical problem-solving support / reporting, leveraging data to identify root causes.

  • Leverages complex operational data to Identify ways to enhance performance management and operations on a real time and retrospective basis

  • Provide operational support to the larger Member Engagement and leadership organization by acting as a SME related to operational reporting, collaborating cross functionally with data / technical and operational resources to ensure reporting is timely and accurate within scope of responsibility

  • Analyzes business workflow to ensure compliance with member engagement operational framework

  • Translates and communicates data into meaningful and useable materials to ME leadership

  • Manage assignment of, throughput, and quality of junior analyst work product

What are the requirements needed for this position?

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Mathematics or related field

  • 2-5 years of business process analysis (i.e. documenting business process, gathering requirements, report management / manipulation) experience.

  • 2-5 years or demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Applications, specifically Excel.

  • 2-5 years' experience in call center and / or business operations

  • Advance experience in EXCEL / Access/ SQL/ Coding

What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?

  • Experienced and proficient in the translation and presentation of analytics to leadership

  • Excellent team-player and ability to work independently

  • Proficient problem-solving skills as well as the ability to assist others in problem solving

  • Organized, task oriented, and strong attention to detail

  • Strong desire to build best practices in the team to help enable your team members' mutual success as the organization continues to grow.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently while managing multiple projects, assignments and/or responsibilities

  • Highly proficient in prioritizing multiple, complex requests and / or workstreams

  • Intermediate experience in MS Office Products (Excel, Access, Power Point, Word, etc). Heavy emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to use query and report generation tools.

What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job?

  • Incumbent will be sitting for long periods of time.

  • Incumbent will work on computers for extended periods of time.

How much should I expect to travel?

  • 10% travel

  • Employees in roles that require travel will need to be able to qualify for a company credit card or be able to use their own personal credit card for travel expenses and submit for reimbursement.
