The Service Manager is responsible for establishing and preserving a high customer service experience by handling customer service interactions, reports, and repairs. The Service Manager must ensure the Service teams are providing the highest level of customer service by maintaining positive relationships with homeowners and having a strong working knowledge of company standards, warranties and product and parts knowledge.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
-Establish and preserve high customer service expectations, preserving established integrity and coordinate resolution of service-related problems with homeowners.
-Direct, supervise, and train all team members, ensuring proper techniques, policies and procedures are followed. Provide continuous feedback to teammates, Installation managers, and crews
-Develop and maintain ongoing service training programs to include technical information, problem solving and customer resolution
-Define and develop corrective action plans & procedures that can be used in the field to solve product issues; consult on potential factory fixes; identify and recommend appropriate improvements to process or technology
-Improve and maintain service quality by enforcing policies and procedures, collaborating with other functional areas, and encouraging employee participation in solutions
-Prepares and manages budgets, schedules, expenditures, and initiates corrective actions when required
-Maintains professional and technical knowledge through formal and informal continuous learning opportunities
-Conduct field inspections, ensuring installation and service methods/standards are being followed, minimizing service calls' takes corrective action when necessary
-Other job duties as assigned

Knowledge/Skills:
-Willingness to learn Renewal by Andersen's product and processes, including measuring, installation, and service methods
-Demonstrated problem solving/opportunity identification skills
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-3-5 years of Window/ Door installation, carpentry finishing and/or remodeling experience
-Experience using Microsoft Office including, Outlook, Word, and Excel
-Valid drivers license and reliable transportation, with a clean driving record.

Experience/ Education:
-High School diploma required; College degree preferred
-3-5 years of experience in a management role required
-3-5 years of experience in company/ department budgeting, scheduling, and reports analysis
