Job Description

  1. Responsible for the monitoring, maintenance, configuration, verification and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, virtualization and cloud service provider backups.
  2. Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
  3. Design and implement autonomous, highly available, load balanced systems.
  4. Responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, and operation of internal highly available resources.
  5. Contribute in the design, deployment and management of process systems and equipment.
  6. Review current operations, systems, and design, and provide evaluations to management on how they can be improved, with a close eye on both cost and effectiveness.
  7. Manage Day-to-Day operations of Microsoft Azure Environment.
  8. Assist in the implementation of federation of all systems and technology to enable single sign-on across platforms.
Preferred Skills:
  1. Associate or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience required.
  2. 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
  3. System administration and IT certifications in Linux, Microsoft, or other network related fields are a plus.
  4. Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, Hyper-V and/or equivalent.
  5. Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols.
  6. Experience with scripting and automation tools.
