The Early College High School program at Aims Community College is a partnership with Greeley District 6. The Early College Academy program gives high school students the opportunity to earn a high school diploma while subsequently earning an Associate of Arts degree

Job Duties:

All Aims classes on taught on the Early College Academy Campus Monday-Friday following an established bell schedule.

1. Provide effective and high quality instruction in psychology courses.
2. Evaluate students' course work, provide feedback to foster greater student learning, and report grades in a timely manner.
3. Revise psychology courses to maintain current in pedagogy, content, and the high standards of the College.
4. Design educational methodologies and adopt learning-centered teaching practices to enhance student learning.
5. Communicate clearly defined student learning outcomes, provide an array of learning activities that are tied to and assess those outcomes, and participate in formative and summative assessments of student learning in psychology courses.
a) Analyze and utilize assessment data to improve instruction and learning.
6. Demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement and participate in professional development activities to further develop and maintain instructional excellence in your field of expertise.
7. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
8. Demonstrate a willingness to work as a team member toward the fulfillment of the College's/ECA's Mission Statement, Purpose, Vision and commitment to Diversity.
9. Maintain positive, cooperative, and professional interpersonal relationships with students, faculty, staff, and administration.
10. Perform other department, division, and/or institutional duties as assigned by the Department Chair.

11. Follow all protocols and procedures at Early College Academy

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States.
1. College-level teaching experience.
2. A Master of Arts in Psychology, or a directly related field with 18-graduate credits in Psychology from a regionally accredited institution.
3. Evidence of teaching excellence.

4. K-12 teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with concurrent enrollment or dual enrollment programs
2. Experience using technology in the classroom, or teaching online

Minimum Payment Amount:

C - Lecture - $1,194.00 per credit

D - Recitation: Discussion/Seminar - $1,194.00 per credit

E - Laboratory/Career and Technical - $1,302.00 per credit

F1 - Laboratory: Academic - $1,437.00 per credit

F2 - Laboratory: Academic - $1,628.00 per credit

G - Physical Education/Recreation Courses - $1,437.00 per credit

H - Studio: Art - $1,437.00 per credit

J - Studio: Music - $1,528.00 per credit

L2 - Clinical or Internship Instructor On-Site - $1,437.00 per credit

L3 - Clinical or Internship Rad Tech - $2,802.00 per credit

L4 - Clinical or Internship Nursing - $2,928.00 - $3,252.00 per credit based on employee's highest applicable degree

M2 - Clinical or Internship Instructor On-Site - $1,437.00 per credit

M3 - Clinical or Internship Nursing and/or Nurse Aide (Health/Nurse Aide) - $1,952.00 - $2,168.00 per credit, based on employee's highest applicable degree

In certain instances, due to low enrollment, instructors payment will be based on part-time per credit pay and pro-rated on a 10% per student basis.

Employees in these positions may be asked to participate in temporary assignments lasting less than 6 months (such as curriculum development, short term projects, meetings and substitute duties) which could amount to additional temporary pay.
