Cyber Automation Engineer

Key Role:

Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities as a cyber automation engineer on our team in support of critical national security missions. Collect and analyze user requirements, develop, test, deploy, and tailor solutions using commercial, open-source, or customer tools to automate, modernize, and advance cyber defense operations. Apply advanced technical expertise and experience to drive innovative solutions to complex cybersecurity problems that introduce operational efficiency and increase mission effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience with cybersecurity engineering and automation
  • Experience designing, implementing, and integration automation solutions, including commercial, open-source, and custom via APIs
  • Experience with security operations, detection, incident response, threat management, or log analysis
  • Experience in programming using Python, REST APIs, and SOAP APIs
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HD Diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
  • Experience with creating, managing, and developing automation/workflows using tools, including Splunk, MISP, ThreatIQ, Demisto, or Apache Nifi
  • Experience with supporting analytics or orchestration development in a zero-trust environment
  • Experience creating cybersecurity, cyber defense, and risk dashboards
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • DoD 8750 IAT/IAM Certification

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
