Security Assessment & Authorization - Secret
Xcelerate Solutions is seeking a Security Assessment & Authorization professional with experience using CAST source code analysis software to support the development of analysis for application refactoring in preparation for cloud migration. Participate in documentation updates and respond to RFIs/Audit responses in support of security authorizations for various applications. Conduct application mapping exercises to codify the understanding of relationships between applications, data, and infrastructure. Responsibilities:

• Support cloud strategy change initiatives and objectives relative to the organization's cloud plan and Federal Government/DoD requirements
• Apply knowledge of software and programming to assess and test business applications and produce assessment results and recommendations.
• Identify logical groups of applications based on factors such as workload destination, underlying technology, common services dependencies, and migration type.
• Objectively score applications to create the move groups, recommending and justifying optimization dispositions and move group mapping based on the analysis and desired outcomes.
• Interacts with customers to understand their requirements and make recommendations while assisting them through cloud onboarding process

Minimum Requirements:

• Requires a 4-year degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 1 year of applicable experience
• Must have knowledge of CAST analysis tools
• Technical expertise/experience in either J2EE or .NET and one of the common databases such as Oracle, DB2, RDS/Postgres, or SQL Server
• Strong knowledge of application development and maintenance processes, such as app development workflows (agile, waterfall), configuration management, DevSecOps, basic cloud concepts, and containerization
• 5+ year's experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience supporting Federal Government/DoD information technology projects a plus
