Position Responsibilities

Deltek's Global Information Security (GIS) team is a diverse group of people who protect our Corporate and Cloud environments. We work collaboratively with the goal of protecting our organization as well as with sensitivity to the needs of our customers.

We are looking for a collaborative Information Security and Vulnerability Analyst who will define and drive our efforts for vulnerability management throughout the enterprise. This individual will lead the Vulnerability Management program by working collaboratively with GIS and Business Units throughout Deltek. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the lifecycle of vulnerabilities from detection or report to triage, remediation, and validation
• Perform vulnerability assessments and continuous vulnerability monitoring across the enterprise
• Provide expertise on tools used for vulnerability scanning
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures associated with the operation of vulnerability management
• Audit and keep track of missing critical controls from critical assets
• Work with asset owners to review, manage, and update vulnerability scan policies
• Understand asset configurations and be able to provide guidance on vulnerability remediation
• Work with stakeholders, on a continuous basis, to develop vulnerability remediation strategies and track status
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Education and/or training in Information Technology, Information Security, or related fields
• Five or more years of experience in Information Security or a related field
• Must have good communication and teamwork skills
• Certification such as: GCIH, GSEC, Security+, CISSP preferred but not required.

• Experience with vulnerability management tools and ability to take on the challenge of learning new tools
• Direct experience developing processes for vulnerability management
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing and Security, preferably with direct experience with AWS and Azure
