Personnel Security Suitability Specialist TS/SCI

Description

The contractor shall support Personnel Suitability/Quality Assurance. Requirements include, but are not limited to:

Suitability

• Prepare accurate and quality suitability assessments for decision in accordance with the established procedure and 5CFR Section 302. Deliver suitability assessments within 2 working days of receipt of each checkpoint.
• Update the PeopleSoft Security module with the appropriate suitability information related to each case.
• Coordinate with sources to resolve missing or discrepant information.
• Review and analyze all Employability cases (SF86, ISP ROI, Credit Report, Polygraph and any attached comments, NAC).
• Review, maintain, and update Employability spreadsheet
• Active monitoring/on call of Employability mailbox and emails.
• Active monitoring/on call of Case Initiation Team Jabber messages and emails.
• Continual review of cases for unfavorable issues.
• Prepare overview of a potential Unfavorable case for discussion with Federal Team Lead. Prepare weekly reports for teleworking.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly Employability reports for the Prime POC.

Quality Assurance

• Review the specified percentage of investigation reports for compliance with Federal Investigative Standards and applicable implementation plans within five working days of date assigned.

• Coordinate with C/SISPI, and C/SISPA on issues identified in record audit.
• Document status of all issues, to include resolution, in the Quality Audit Report Tracker (QART).
• Accurately detail information in the QART system.
• Create and deliver metrics reports for each Investigative Service Provider on a monthly basis, or as requested by the government.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and minimum 7 years of prior relevant experience
• TS/SCI Clearance with CI Poly

Preferred Qualifications

• A strong background in personnel security, investigative/adjudicative experience; case reviewer; understanding of Federal Regulation Title 5, Part 731-Suitability; DoD 1400.25, V731,
• Suitability Processing Handbook September 2008 and other pertinent memos related to employability.
