Job Summary Responsible for leading the efforts of the various Infrastructure departments to ensure the bank's technology solutions are designed, implemented and supported to required specifications. Strong leadership skills and experience leading projects or teams are very important. Will be responsible for leading, developing, coaching, staffing, and employee relationships. Manage work flows and ensure service level standards are met. Provide mentoring for Engineering resources on projects or initiatives where necessary. Provide deep support assistance to staff where required for the bank's various technologies and management systems to ensure system availability and stability. Other responsibilities include request for proposal (RFP) development; vendor relationship management, as well as requisitioning of equipment, licensing, and/or services. Job Accountabilities
- Direct and manage the execution of all department projects and tasks to ensure their successful completion on time and budget. Responsible for attracting, hiring, training and developing talent. Cross-train other team members on technologies and create written documentation of new and existing systems.
- Monitor, measure and report on technology issues, opportunities and project plans and achievements. Provide timely and accurate status updates to Telecom management for review.
- Support various network technologies to ensure system availability and stability thru support calls, after-hours support and guidance to other team members as needed. Proactively identify key end user issues to determine areas of inefficiencies and report findings to management for review.
- Defines primary architectures and develop long term plans that address system enhancements, security demands and application improvements.
- Review and recommend hardware solutions for current and future performance and operation. Perform capacity planning on systems to ensure short and long-term performance and availability are met.
- Manage projects and/or provide expert consultation on complex projects in support of Business Solutions corporate initiatives.
- Research and recommend new technologies for future projects.
- Engage external vendors to improve the overall infrastructure to support organizational effectiveness.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration/Management. Required
Experience
- 4-7 years Infrastructure leadership experience including 1 year with direct management experience in a complex environment consisting of a large diverse population of users, computers, applications and technologies. Experience leading projects and/or teams. Required
- 7-10 years Infrastructure leadership experience including 2-3 years with direct management experience in a complex environment consisting of a large diverse population of users, computers, applications and technologies. Experience leading projects and/or teams. Preferred
