Job Summary

Student Solutions customer service position that would provide direct student service. Evaluates and determine UWG readmission application and lawful presence documents. Receives and processes applications for Academic Renewal. Responsible for sorting, opening and coding of all Admission documents in preparation for front end scanning Position will provide exemplary customer service to students, parents, faculty and staff regarding related issues and serving as a generalist for Financial Aid and Registrar. Interpret academic and institutional policy for registration, federal and state regulations for receiving aid and providing accurate information to visitors of the Momentum Center. Assist with Commencements to include working the ceremony and assisting with UWG 1101 presentations Other duties as assigned by the Director Enrollment Services Center.

Responsibilities

1 - 63%:

  • Evaluates and determine UWG readmission applications. Responsible for monitoring and collecting lawful presence documents for all readmit students. Receives processes, and determines eligibility for all applications for Academic Renewal. Manage all communication with readmits and academic renewal students.

2 - 30%:

  • Position provides exemplary customer service to students, parents, faculty and staff regarding related issues and serving as a generalist for Financial Aid and Registrar. Interpret academic and institutional policy for registration, federal and state regulations for receiving aid and providing accurate information to visitors of the Momentum Center.

3 - 5%:

  • Responsible for sorting, opening and coding of all Admission documents in preparation for front end scanning

4 - 1%:

  • Assist with Commencements to include working at the ceremony and assisting with UWG 1101 presentations.

5 - 1%:

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director Enrollment Services Center.
Required Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • High School diploma required or GED and four or more years of administrative experience.

Other Required Qualifications:

  • Customer Service and ability to lead a group, team or project.
  • Experience in use of complex computerized information systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret academic policy and translate the information to a complex computerized information system.
  • Must be deadline oriented with ability to make informed decisions.
  • Have excellent organizational and planning skills. Be able to communicate effectively (oral and written).
  • Comfortable preparing and delivering presentations.
  • Possess outgoing personality and a willingness to deliver exceptional service to a diverse group of customers.
  • Ability to perform in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • One year of higher education experience; preferably in a student services environment.
  • Preference given to candidates with direct experience in baseline Banner.
Proposed Salary

$19.54 - $22.38 / hourly
