DevOps Platform Engineer, Senior

The Challenge:

As a platform DevOps engineer, you know how to build, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your clients' needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. What if you could use your technical skills to improveenterprise services, including DevSecOps, to enhance mission application development? We need you to help us develop and manage container management software to solvesome ofindustry'stoughest challenges.

On our team as a Platform DevOps Engineer, you'll establish an enterprise platform focused on rapid development, deployment, and scalability. You'll use the latest cloud technologies as you look for ways to improve your clients' environments with container software to ensure seamless orchestration.you'll work directly withthe leadership teamto inform strategy and design,, while ensuring standards are met throughout the containerization process with AWS services, Kubernetes/Docker, and more tools.

You'll work with your team to recommend cloud and DevSecOps focused tools that will help your clients manage and securely adopt containers. Additionally, you'lluse your skills inareas likeEnterprise Services, CI/CD Pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)while supporting the development of critical cloud platforms forBooz Allen Hamilton and its client delivery. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.

You Have:

  • Experience designing, implementing, managing, and sustaining cloud-based mission or enterprise IT systems

  • Experience deploying and configuring cloud-based services within AWS or Azure environments

  • Experience with commercial cloud service providers, including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure, containers, serverless architecture, micro-services, Web services, and RESTful API design

  • Experience with systems administrator or integration work using Windows or Linux operating systems

  • Experience developing API solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code and Cloud oriented strategies

  • Experience working within an Agile and version-controlled environment, including familiarity with associated policies and best practices

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance

  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with multiple CICD and Agile Development tools, including GitLab, Atlassian, or Jenkins

  • Experience developing Linux based solutions using commercial cloud

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code or end state management technology, including Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Associate Cloud or Development Technologies

Salary for this position is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, location, the candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract specific affordability and organizational requirements. The proposed salary range for this position is outlined below.

Colorado: $104,100 - $213,800 (annualized USD)

New York (including New York City): $109,600 - $254,500 (annualized USD)
