Software Engineer

The Challenge:

We are looking for software developers, engineers, DevOps personnel, or systems administrators with scripting experience to support a DoD client. In this role, you'll develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ruby, and HashiCorp Configuration Language to manage and deploy enterprise resources. You'll manage, maintain, and deploy Cloud Agnostic tools, including Ansible and CloudBolt, to manage private cloud environments. You'll learn to deploy and manage containers using Kubernetes and Docker. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using resources including Git, Artifactory, IIS, and Ansible.

This position is on a team of Automation Engineers who provide the underlying resources required to manage IT resources. At any point you may develop code that implements STIGS, installs software or features, manages systems drift, or deploys resources to production networks. We provide the IT resources required that directly support analytical activities for the U.S. and our warfighters.

You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with Object Oriented Programming, including C#, .NET, Java, JavaScript, or Python
  • Experience with PowerShell or Bash
  • Experience orchestrating workflows and providing infrastructure and deployment automation using API's and industry-standard tooling
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $58,300.00 to $133,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
