Aon Is Looking for an Associate Broker As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Aviation practice business group within Aon Risk Solutions in Dallas, TX. As an Associate Broker, you will report directly to the Dallas Aviation Office Manager. Aon's Global Aviation Specialty Practice is structured to deliver global capabilities locally. We work closely with various clients - aircraft owners and operators, product manufacturers, airlines, and airports, as well as other firms with aviation exposures- to interpret their needs, using a data-driven approach and technology that collects and analyzes global market data in real time, to support carrier selection and negotiation. Your Impact as an Associate Broker Job Responsibilities: Handling policy & coverage related questions from staff issuing Certificates of Insurance Investigating accounting queries as required Attending internal pre-renewal strategy meetings with Broker, as required Gathering new and renewal documentation including schedules, and application forms Generating binder documentation & expiring schedules, to be provided to the Broker Supporting Brokers with general day-to-day client servicing In consultation with the broker, reviewing and requesting corrections to policy documents from Insurer and follow up for timely delivery of correct policy documents. Engaging the broker if insurers are not delivering in accordance with our service standards Assisting in the creation of submissions for all accounts. Ensuring submission quality to Aon Standards, including details of any midterm changes, new operations, exposure schedules, claims summaries, etc. Calculating complex premium, fees, adjustments and taxes and retain a copy in the file. Requesting assistance from the Broker if unclear on how to proceed. Ensuring that documents are forwarded to Insurer(s) with a detailed letter explaining all changes or enclosures Backing-up and supporting the Broker in the tracking of outstanding renewal documents and assisting with follow up with insurers for timely delivery of policy documents/endorsements Checking insurer policies within 30 days of the date received from the carrier Performing other duties as assigned You Bring Knowledge and Expertise Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree with strong analytical skills HIGH attention to detail Good sales skills or desire and aptitude to quickly develop effective sales techniques Committed to delivering the highest level of customer service and quality Proficient in Microsoft Office and Access Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to organize a wide range of tasks from various sources and prioritize workload to meet deadlines Excellent interpersonal skills Goal oriented and highly motivated in achieving results Good presentation skills Interest in pursuing self-development courses Ability to work independently or within a team-based environment Ability to travel when required How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
