Assistant Director The Office of Pre-Professional Programs and Advising serves undergraduates, graduate students, and alumni of the Krieger School of Arts & Sciences and the Whiting School of Engineering pursuing professional education in medicine, other health professions, and law. At The Johns Hopkins University, pre-law and pre-health advising includes advising students and alumni as they pursue their career goals, assisting students with course selections, designing and implementing workshops, creating and promoting resources, serving as a liaison to key academic departments and schools, and establishing and cultivating relationships with admissions deans/directors at professional schools. We are seeking an Assistant Director who is an experienced advisor with strong communication skills and an ability to guide students as they reflect upon their goals, clarify their interests, and make informed and independent decisions. The Assistant Director must also be an inclusive, positive, kind, and hard-working team player who is proud to be part of the Hopkins family and wants students to succeed. The selected candidate will spend 50% of the time on pre-law advising and initiatives, and 50% of the time on pre-health advising and initiatives.
