The Opportunity:

The University of Central Florida's (UCF) Online Connect Center is seeking to hire seven Student Coach II positions. The Student Coach II is a professional position that provides an enhanced level of coaching support to prospective and current UCF Online students. Student Coach II will deliver support for students at all program levels, and will be knowledgeable in all aspects of the student experience to include: recruitment, enrollment, coaching, student services, and retention. Working collaboratively with teams of professionals and with academic program partners, the Student Coach II will used enhanced coaching methodologies to develop ongoing coaching relationships with prospective and current UCF students to provide early integration, ongoing support, degree progression, and goal completion.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provides coaching to prospective, transitioning, and currently enrolled students.

  • Demonstrates ability to use enhanced coaching techniques and methodologies to successfully advance the students.

  • Develops and implements highly proactive outreach services to current students; focused on retention and success.

  • Serves as Coach Liaison to academic program partners, committees, and leadership.

  • Interfaces regularly with university college departments and faculty.

  • Ensures timely turnaround of services, meeting established unit benchmarks, customer service standards, and key performance indicators, while adhering to daily productivity metrics.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or a Master's degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working at an institution of higher education.

  • Previous Salesforce experience.

  • Previous customer service or coaching experience.
